The Positive Media Full-time program is way for you to offer your creative, business, and administrative skills to create positive change through media!

We are seeking individuals who understand the power of media and who wish to create positive change not just in the world but in themselves as well.

Interns work a 40-hour work week with occasional overtime when projects require additional support, as well as extracurricular Positive Media activities and events.

Three semesters yearly – Fall Semester: September – December,
Winter Semester: January – Mid May, Summer Semester: July and August

 

 

 

 

As an intern, you can grow:

Professionally: through the work experience, which can include marketing, graphic editing, sales, participation in business and media classes, letters of recommendation, networking contacts, etc.

Academically: earn school credit (if applicable)

Socially: with staff and other interns through work, networking, internet groups, conference calls with producers and celebrity guest (if applicable), in person, or at our summer conference (if applicable).

Spiritually: participating in regular formation classes; as a team and as an individual in talks, classes, studies, and constant spiritual support from principled leaders.

As an individual: knowing that you are contributing to positive change that can affect the lives of millions as well as your own life

 

What we require:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Proficiency in the English language

Professional demeanor both in person and on the phone

Eagerness to serve in both minor and major tasks

Ability to multitask

Full participation in the schedule and an adherence to a faith-based work and living environment

 

 

 

The program includes:

Modifications to the 2010 July/August schedule may vary from what is below. Details will be provided to those who apply.

• Transportation while here for certain scheduled events and errands, etc.
• Regular Business and Media classes (includes all supplies)
• Regular Formation classes (includes all supplies)
• Certain sightseeing trips, including transportation to and from (certain extra costs)
• Certain special events – (i.e. previous events included tickets and backstage passes to Switchfoot, Alejandro Sanz, Casting Crowns, Award Shows, Movie premieres, exclusive parties and events, etc.
• Guest speakers
• Life Coach assistants
• Retreat

Interns are responsible for:

• Food (all meals)
• Arrival to and departure from West Palm Beach, FL (we are approximately 10 minute car ride from airport)

There is no program fee, only an application processing fee for those accepted and attending the internship

We are currently accepting applications for the Summer internship which will take place in July and August!

You may submit for the Summer internship until May 31st; however space is limited so apply as soon as possible.

Application process for full program:

• Fill out for and hit submit
• Reference forms will automatically be sent to you. Have them filled out and faxed back to number on form.
• You will be notified of your application status by email with us within a few days. At that time if we require a phone interview one will be arranged.
• Assistance with seeking scholarships/assistance is provided after phone interview is complete.
• If accepted you will be notified and sent paperwork to be completed and sent back. Acceptance is confirmed and spot is reserved when administrative processing fee is paid, housing is confirmed and flight information is sent to us.
